February 28, 2010 (Sun.) - Larry G. Aaron will give a talk on his book: The Race to the Dan, 3:00 pm at Leaksville United Methodist Church (Fellowship Hall), 603 Henry St, Eden. FREE and open to the public!

March 6, 2010 (Sat.) - OLD SPRAY CEMETERY CLEANUP, beginning at 10:00 AM. Park at the rear of First Wesleyan Church (607 Church Street). Contact David Clay, 427-5711.

March 22, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm

April 16-17, 2010 (Fri.-Sat.) - TAG SALE and SILENT AUCTION - A fundraiser for the Eden Preservation Society. To be held in the warehouse at 612 Henry Street, beside Pace-Stone Thrift Store. Hours: 9am-5pm both days. Questions?

April 26, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm

May 7, 2010 (Fri.) - LADIES NIGHT OUT, 6-9pm in Olde Leaksville Shopping District. The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 6-9pm, FREE ADMISSION. Numerous events and activities along Washington Street including free health screenings provided by Morehead Memorial Hospital.

May 8, 2010 (Sat.) - EDEN CRUISE along Washington Street (4-8pm). The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 10am-8pm.

May 24, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm

June 12, 2010 (Sat.) - EDEN CRUISE along Washington Street (4-8pm). The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 10am-8pm.

June 28, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm

July 10, 2010 (Sat.) - EDEN CRUISE along Washington Street (4-8pm). The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 10am-8pm.

July 18, 2010 (Sun.) - Historical Performance - Brig. Gen. William Clark (of Lewis & Clark). Starts at 2:30 pm at Leaksville United Methodist Church, 603 Henry Street in Eden. This is a FREE program open to the public. SEE FLYER.

There will be no monthly meeting in July.

July 30, 2010 (Fri.) - The EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM will be open 5:00-8:00 p.m. for BRINGING THE BEACH DOWNTOWN sponsored by the Olde Leaksville Merchants Assn.

August 5, 2010 (Thurs.) - The EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM will be open 10:00 am - 2:00 pm for SENIOR DAY OUT sponsored by the Olde Leaksville Merchants Assn.

August 14, 2010 (Sat.) - EDEN CRUISE along Washington Street (4-8pm). The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 10am-8pm.

August 23, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm

September 11, 2010 (Sat.) - EDEN CRUISE along Washington Street (4-8pm). The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 10am-8pm.

September 17-18, 2010 (Fri. & Sat.) - RIVERFEST - This annual event takes place in the Olde Leaksville Shopping District on Washington Street and at the River Village located at Leaksville Landing along the Dan River (Hwy 87 S).

September 25, 2010 (Sat.) - An Evening With Loudon Wainwright III, Gov. Morehead Park in Spray. 6pm until ?. EPS is working in conjunction with Piedmont Folk Legacies on this event and part of the proceeds will be used to repair the Morehead Mill wall at Gov. Morehead Park. Tickets must be purchased by Sept. 17th! MORE DETAILS.

September 27, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm.

September 30, 2010 (Thurs.) - TEMPTATIONS IN THE GARDEN, Oak Hills Golf & Event Center. EPS will be working with the Eden Chamber of Commerce on this event.

October 9, 2010 (Sat.) - EDEN CRUISE along Washington Street (4-8pm). The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 10am-8pm.

October 15, 2010 (Fri.) - EVENT sponsored by the Olde Leaksville Merchants Assn. The Eden Historical Museum will be open from 5am-8pm. More details to follow.

October 25, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm.

November 14, 2010 (Sun.) - HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE IN OLDE LEAKSVILLE SHOPPING DISTRICT, Eden Historical Museum will be open (hours TBD) and EDEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY ANNUAL BAKE SALE (hours and place TBD).

November 22, 2010 (Mon.) - Monthly Meeting, EDEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 7 pm.

December 5, 2010 (Sun.) - ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES.

There will be no monthly meeting in December.
