The Eden Preservation Society is a volunteer group focused on preserving the historic heritage of Eden and Rockingham County, NC.

OLD SPRAY CEMETERY

The Eden Preservation Society began cleanup of the old Spray Cemetery on Church Street in the Spray section of Eden in early 2010. Local scout Colin Clark has been given an honorary Student Membership to EPS for heading up the Spray Cemetery cleanup project for his Eagle Scout project. So far, many hours of work have been completed by EPS, the Boy Scouts and the American Legion on this project. Piedmont Rentals provided tools free of charge for a recent work day. This is an ongoing project.

The Old Spray Cemetery was awarded the Eden Community Appearance Award for the month of September 2010!
